1) Information We Collect
PaisaTrack is designed to help you track income, expenses, investments, and budgets. The App primarily works offline.
1A) Data you enter in the App
We store information you voluntarily provide, such as:
- Transactions (income, expenses, investments), including amount, date, category, title and notes
- Budgets and budget alerts
- App preferences (for example currency and settings)
1B) Google Sign-In (optional)
If you use the App’s Google Drive Backup/Restore feature, you may sign in with Google. Google Sign-In provides authentication so the App can access your Drive backup location. We do not collect or store your Google password.
1C) Google Drive backup data (optional)
If you enable Backup/Restore, the App can upload a backup file to your Google Drive in the App’s private storage area, called appDataFolder.
2) How We Use Your Information
We use the data only to provide app functionality, including:
- Displaying and managing your expenses, income, investments, and budgets
- Generating summaries and reports
- Performing Google Drive backup and restore when you request it
3) Data Storage (No server storage)
- PaisaTrack does not operate any backend server to store your personal or financial data.
- Your data is stored only on your device (local app database).
- If you use Google Drive backup, a backup file is stored only in your own Google Drive account, inside the App’s private
appDataFolder.
4) Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share data only in these cases:
- With Google services when you sign in and use Drive backup/restore (authentication and storing backup files in your Drive).
- Legal requirements: We may comply with valid legal requests to the extent applicable. However, PaisaTrack does not store your financial data on our servers, so we generally cannot access or provide your transaction/budget data.
5) Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Internet / Network access: required for Google Sign-In and Google Drive backup/restore (when used).
6) Your Choices
- You can use the App without Google Drive sync (local-only).
- You can sign out of Google at any time.
- You can delete backups from your Google Drive App Data folder using Google account tools.
- You can uninstall the App to remove local data from your device (subject to OS behavior).
7) Data Retention
- Local data remains on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App.
- Drive backup files remain in your Google Drive App Data folder until deleted or overwritten by newer backups.
